Associate Adviser

Purpose of this Role

Located in Sydney CBD and reporting to Mark Nagle, this position exists to provide support to the Financial Life Management team to deliver financial guidance to our clients. This position is an integral part of the Treysta team, ensuring clients receive an exceptional ongoing experience.

What will your typical responsibilities look like in this role?

Whilst we expect all our team members to do what needs to be done to support Treysta, below are some specific aspects of your role for which you will be responsible:

  • Advice Preparation:
    • Strategy formulation for clients
    • Generation of Statement of Advice (SoA), Limited Statements of Advice (LSoA) and Records of Advice (RoA). Utilising Midwinter modules where required to produce the advice document (soon to be via Salesforce)
  • Pre & Post Review Production
    • Development of presentations for ongoing strategies and financial modelling
    • Preparation of projection scenarios and cashflow analysis
    • Undertaking insurance needs analysis for clients
    • Attend client meetings where required and follow up action items
  • Client queries and follow ups
    • Taking on queries in lieu of the Adviser wherever appropriate

Some of our expectations for previous Qualifications & Experience


  • FASEA Approved Degree or FASEA Approved pathway
  • Diploma of Financial Planning
  • RG146 qualified or close to completion


  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Paraplanning or related financial services role
  • Strong financial planning background and proven knowledge of technical competencies
  • Salesforce CRM experience is an advantage
  • Midwinter CRM experience – essential
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities in accordance with business requirements and timelines
