Treysta Community Fights to help those with Autism

A few months ago a good friend of Treysta, Jon Sermon, informed us that he would be competing in an upcoming charity corporate boxing event. For the many that would be unfamiliar with this concept, the event involves a collection of corporate professionals with no previous boxing experience embarking on a three month training program, before donning the gloves and stepping into the ring for three rounds of action.

Treysta was pleased to offer Jon (or Big J, as was his fighting name for the evening) and the chosen charity our support by securing a ringside table and taking along some of our colleagues. We are pleased to say that Jon didn’t let down his fans, securing a win via a unanimous points decision after a bruising battle lasting the distance!

The chosen charity for the evening’s event was Autism Spectrum Australia, with all proceeds from sales and auctions going towards the charity. An estimated 1 in 70 people have autism, which is almost 230,000 Australians. We are pleased not only to see Jon embark and succeed on a personally challenging journey, but to also continue to support such worthwhile and important charities that are able to help so many people.
